clay' ... renouned throughout Asia as a substance, discovered several thousand years ago and named the city of Seramorium
(city of of Ceramic) later the city was named 'Kotiaion' , the story tells of an old woman who sold her wares in the
Western Anatolian markets several thousands of years ago, this woman's wares were truly prized and she always sold everything
at market for the highest value. Other potters were jealous of her success and wanted to find her secret, so they followed
her and discovered her secret cache of river bed clay, the secret was out and Kutahya was eventually developed as the most
prestigious of porcelain producing regions throughout the known world. This is an original final firing at 1400 degrees centigrade,

discovered several thousand years ago and as a result a city was named called Seramorium (city of of Ceramic) later the city
was named 'Kotiaion' . A story tells of an old woman who sold her wares in the Western Anatolian markets several thousands
of years ago, this woman's wares were truly prized and she always sold everything at market for the highest value. Other

river bed clay, the secret was out and Kutahya was eventually developed as the most prestigious of porcelain producing regions
throughout the known world. This is an original firing at 1400 degrees centigrade, of which only ONE exists, it is unique,
the designs are from Ottoman times. The dancers can still be seen very occasionally at tourist places in Cappadocia, Konya,
Turkiye, but for 100's of years this was an activity suppressed by the Ottomans as being 'devil worship', the
actuality is that the dancers were from the ancient religion of Zoarastriaism and their high was not purely from the dancing
which can take many years to perfect, but also the use of 'Hashishin' ..... also the root of the word 'assasin'
a Shi'ite sect of 'for-hire' mercenaries in the 11-13th centuries who used Hashish extensively, wherein is derived
the word Assassin. Dimensions
are: Dervisher dancer 8" tall, drummer and fluetist 4" high
