An exceptional hand-crafted porcelain work of art. This beautiful original one-of-a-kind plate was specially commissioned and crafted by the Master Craftsman Hamdi Diker, an acknowledged traditional artist in Turkish Islamic art and is hand signed on the back. The semitic calligraphy in the center is the traditional tugra "besemele", the opening verse of all chapters of the Koran, which means "in the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate.This piece alone took more than a month of incredibly precise calligraphy to produce. This is an original which was twice fired at 1400 degrees centigrade, only 1 exists, it is unique. It is unique, and comes in its own red velvet presentation case. As an expert in Oriental Artifacts, I have never seen another piece like this, in another 100 years this will become an Antique Museum piece.

The dancers can still be seen very occasionally at tourist places in Cappadocia, Konya, Turkiye, but for 100's of years this was an activity suppressed by the Ottomans as being 'devil worship', the actuality is that the dancers were from the ancient religion of Zoarastriaism and their high was not purely from the dancing which can take many years to perfect, but also the use of 'Hashishin' ..... also the root of the word 'assasin' a Shi'ite sect of 'for-hire' mercenaries in the 11-13th centuries who used Hashish extensively, wherein is derived the word Assassin.
